Barbara Yvonne Roth
PhD student
Barbara Yvonne Roth is a Graduate Fellow and PhD student of Comparative Politics and International Relations at the Ohio State Department of Political Science. Her primary research interests include the spatial dynamics of intrastate conflict, the evolution of social cohesion, and migration patterns.
Prior to joining the program at Ohio State, Ms. Roth earned an M.A. in Political Science at the University of Utah with a Masters thesis on rebel group negotiation pursuit in civil wars. Ms. Roth also has a B.A. in Political Science and completed an academic exchange to UC Berkeley where she worked as a research apprentice.
